1940s house in mid TN, block walls, no insulation

The house has solid block walls with stucco on block outside and plaster on block inside. Taking all of my heat, sweating on inside of all exterior walls causing severe mold issues. I need advise on the best and cheapest way of insulating (outside and or inside) of block. Also a permanent solution to the mold issue. Thank you for any input

Somehow, you will have to insulate the walls! The inside could be insulated in the same manner as one would insulate a basement recreation room. Wood frame walls, built inside with insulation and vapor barrier would be the cheapest option.Or you could insulate the outside with foam insulation and cover it with aluminum or vinyl siding! Double glazed windows would be a good idea also! Knowing what winter in TN is like, it must cost you a fortune to heat your house, the way it is!

Thank you and yes it costs alot to heat. so we only heat individual rooms when in use but it costs very little to cool in the summer.
