12x12 granite tile as backsplash

We are putting in new cabinets with silestone countertops. We have an 18 in clearance over countertop. The run of countertop will include upper cabinets with 2 36x42 windows in between the upper cabinets. What would be the best way to use the tile? Do we continue the backsplash at the same level at the windows? This would mean extending the tile about 12 inches up the side of the windows. About 6 inches from bottom of window to countertop. Need ideas please. Thank you.

I'd wrap the tile up and around the window.
