when you're tearing down mobile/trailer walls....
It's hard to believe we're still alive....
All gone and correct now, of course, just thought I'd show you all how SOME people like to 'wire' things!

You know I've never understood how somebody can be competent enough to wire in new fixtures and the like but not competent enough to understand not to hide junction boxes, not to leave dangerous live wires etc etc.
Somehow you would think Murphy's law would be weeding out these people with no common sense.
Yup! But I got a free old, working thermometer! Po)

Along that line I was putting a new door on my closet and by chance happened to notice that the interior width of the closet seemed wierd. I discovered it should have been 36" wider to reach the end of the walled in portion of that closet, or in other words I had an enclosed area in my closet that was 3' by 2'. I verified there was no electrical, plumbing, ducting, chimney's etc in that area and then ripped open the wall from inside the closet to discover...
Absolutely nothing. It seems the previous owner put the wall up inside the closet where he did because he ran out of hardwood flooring, that's my best guess anyway, the floor was unfinished in that interior portion, but everything else was.
Yeah I've seen some scary wiring
Last house had live wires here & there
I learned not to touch any wire unless I tested it 1st
One Apt we fixed up (former fire damage) we had access to the downstairs
Figured out there was a big space at the bottom of our stairs after our door
Started to break open the wall...shined a flash light in....
Saw a shelf.....table...chair......looking for a body.....nothing
We have no idea why someone walled off this area
It made an excellent closet
I found this in a wall too.... yes, that's 14-2 wired to 12-2.....
