wiring switches

I am wiring two adjacent rooms for lights, is there anyway to pull power from the last light fixture in one room, to a switch in the second room to control those lights? I am thinking not and will have to run another wire to the original switch and pigtal it but I thought i would see if anyone had others ways.

Not really, unless the fixture is fed by a 3 wire cable it is not possible.

Because the last fixture most likely has a switched hot and a neutral. You need a live hot, switched hot and a neutral for it to work.

You are probably correct but there is a chance.

First step. Remove the switch and see how many wires there are in the box. If there are two wires, you will have power at at least one of your existing light j boxes.
