wiring fan and light with 3 way switch

I am replacing a light in my kitchen with a fan and light combo. I have 2 three-way switches in my kitchen one at each entryway. I want to have one switch control the light and I want to replace the other one with a ceiling fan and light dimmer control. Could someone tell my how to wire this.

Sorry but that isn't feasible with your current set up unless you open some walls and ceiling. Best advice I could give is to get a ceiling fan with a remote.

Yeah....you will need to run another wire (cable) to make this work.

There is a slim chance that there is a "hot" circuit in your ceiling jbox. That would allow the fan to be put on a remote and the lights stay on the existing switches.

On the scale of 1 to 10 on the DIY scale, this is an 8.

You need to tell us all the cables and wires in the two switch boxes and the fixture box.
