Wiring Diagram Symbols for Timer Switch 120v

On a similar thread there is the attached pdf diagram. I need one for a 120v system. Please help...

Change all the 240 volt numbers to 120 volts and the diagram is the same. L1 and L2 are the black and white wires from your cable.

It should be the same or very similar. However each manufacturer will have some slight differences in their devices. It is possible the only one line could be switched instead of both.

Added a small note to same drawing with a question in it. If it's not clear, what do the rectangles mean at the bottom of the relay? I'm not familiar with them in what I understand to be a typical relay drawing.

I believe those are the terminals in the relay box to which you'd connect your wiring.

Those are the relay connection points. You are not going to be connecting to them they are internal to the timer. They are basically the wire nuts you see in the lower left of the lower image. Your connection points are 1,2,3,4 and GRD.
