Wiring diagram for lights with two switches

My s-i-law is putting two new basement lights on two new (two-way) switches; one switch at the head of the stairs, and one at the base of the stairs.
I need a diagram of how the wiring should be run, and how to hook it up. The power source (control box) is in the basement.

Thank you,
Ed M

This is that clear MUD Chris is tallking about..... But I think you would be happier with 3-way switches....as shown. If this isn't what you want post back.

B-minus. You didn't show the switch poles, Chris (I beat Yoysia on this one!)! What about the note to tape the white wire that is being used as the ungrounded conductor? Tsk, tsk, tsk!
