All grounds together.

The power feed to the switches will need to be re-identified with black or red tape or magic marker as a hot conductor.

I am in US.

Here is my interpretation of Jim's Post. It looks like it will work fine to me.

The switch probably has wires from the factory, as does the fan. He never said his 14/3 has a blue wire.

Jim's original response is perfect. Just don't forget to re-identify that white in the 14/3 as hot with tape or a marker (any color other than white, green, or gray).

Just saw your diagram, looks fine except you need to re-identify that white as hot in the switchbox as well (do it the same way on both ends). It also still says your switch needs a neutral

then if he has red, blue, black at sw,someone taped white blue...also if this is old work, neutral not required.that is 2010-2011 code change.other wise he will have to run at least a 14-2 from fan box to switch.

The SWITCH probably has a blue wire on it. NOT his 14/3.

He still did NOT say that the 14-3 has a blue wire in it! The switch came pre-wired with 4 conductors...

ok my bad.one of the wires, red or black will be hot in.blue will be fan, black or red will be fan.you may have to go to the store and get inst or there may be labels showing hot in,fan lite out.look on back of sw.hot in will say common.most likely black.forth wire is green for ground wire in 14-3.
