Wiring Ceiling Fan---HELP!!

Have you touched any wiring other than the ceiling box wiring? Your connections are the correct convention for independent control of the light and fan.

I am assuming that the fan control is working the fan correctly?

The light bulb is good?

Is the light supposed to be controlled from the other two switches excluding the fan control?

In other words are the other two switches 3 way switches?

i have not touch or messed with any of the boxed wiring

yes is it

yes

yes, the two other switches control the fan light as well as a wall outlet......i replaced on old ceiling fan and did not pay attention to the way they had it wired.......before i did this one, it put up the same model fan in a bedroom (which was on a single switch), i then wired the living room fan the same and the light did not work, not realizing the loop switches that controlled the light

In other words are the other two switches 3 way switches?

yes

Well only thing to do is test that red wire at the ceiling for switched voltage. It should have voltage when tested with a voltage tester to the white wire or ground wire with either 3 way switch in the 'on' position then no voltage when in the off position. If it has voltage then you have a problem at the ceiling fan lighting dome circuit. If it has pull chains see if the switch is bad or off.
