wiring for blower AHU

I'm replaicng the AHU for my central AC system. The unit specs are for a 208/240 Volt , 1 phase, 1.0 HP, 6.9 FLA. My questions are:
*What size breaker is required, 1 pole or 2 pole?
*what size wire and how many conductors 3-wire (black, white, red, green) or 2-wire (black, white, green)?

thanks

Well, sicne it is 240v you obviously need a two pole breaker.
12/2 is fine for this as it is a straight 240v circuit that does not require a neutral. The white can and should be re-marked as a hot with a permanent marker. Black, blue or red is typical.

You need a 2 pole breaker. You need a 2 wire cable (black, white (remarked to black), bare ground) or 3 wires in conduit ( 2 Black (or red), 1 green). You do not need a neutral, which is normally the white wire.

Breaker amperage should be specified on the rating plate.
