Wiring 120v Puck Lighting

Hi Guys,

I just found this forum while searching for the proper way to run the wires for the seven 20amp xenon undercabinet lights I'm ready to install.

My question is can I run them as I would run a series of recessed lights? The kit comes with these snap on plugs and extention cords which will look like a hack job if I install according to the instructions.

I would like to run the wires into the slim electrical boxes where needed and use wire nuts and a cover. The boxes will fit nicely under the cabinets which have plenty of room.

BTW I won't have to run any wiring behind a wall which I understand is a code violation.

Thanks

I thought a diagram would explain a little better. I apoligize for the poor drawing skills.
