Question

Wireless and Hardwired Light Switch Pair

I'm looking for a way to take a single pole light switch controlling one incadescent light and add a second "wireless" switch for dual control. I've looked at X10, Smarthome and others but have yet to find the right solution. Some sites recommend wiring a remote device in place of the current hard-wired switch; however that won't accomplish my objective.

Appreciate any suggestions and/or advice from forum members.

smarthome.com lists all of the available switch hardware avail.. Suggest get looking through the site. BTW x10 is old school and is not the best type to use, since it creates interference with other stuff.

Maybe something bad, maybe something good. I guess we'll never know, 'cause you're going to guard it. You won't touch it, will you?

Smarthome has a few options, if you can replace the existing switch. If not, then you will have to be very creative.

Most issues are other devices interfering with X-10, such as any electronic transformers.

Lutron Pico is the way to go... I sell these all the time. Smarthome sells a lot of garbage products... just sayin. But they do carry lutron... but rather at a high price,
shop around.
