Wire Gauge for Dryer

Just looking to verify the wire gauge for an electric dryer. 30 amp circuit, 95 feet from plug to circuit breaker.

Going to run 8-3 with ground.

Yes?

Wire Gauge for Dryer

For the dryer, which draws predomininantly 240 volts on a 30 amp circuit, it could be 150' away before you need to upsize to 8 gauge wire to combat voltage drop problems.

Yes?
Why not? You can use #10, but if you already have #8, go for it.
