Whole House Surge Protectors

What are your comments on these?

Are they snake oil or an easier way to protect lots of electrical stuff in the box?

They work if installed properly, and your catv, telephone etc, along with electric are properly bonded yo earth ground.

Whole House Surge Protectors

Digital....there have been several discussions on the subject here....do a search....

One of the key points that everyone pretty much agrees on....whole house is only the 1st step of protection.....any 'sensitive' electronics should have it's own surge protection at the point of use.

Thanks that's why I asked it again, product and opinions change! So although a search may reveal a previous discussion, it could be old enough that it is out dated!

Thanks

Not really, unless you are stating something from 72 hours ago, is too old. If you go through the most recent discussion, it becomes nothing more than a round table discussion about them.
