Whole House Standby Generator
I am looking for the best 20KW or 27KW standby generator that will run on LP. Does anyone have any experience with Cummins, Baldor, Kohler, Generac, or any other top notch generator?

Whole House Standby Generator
SIngle phase, or 3 phase?
Look for one that operates at 1800 RPM. That is one indication of a good unit.

Whole House Standby Generator
I agree with KBsparky.
I would avoid generac or rebrands like the plague- They are loud, run at 3600 RPM, and break down a lot. Finding parts can be difficult as well. |

Whole House Standby Generator
The Generac Quietsource series (liquid-cooled run at 1800 rpm if i'm not mistaken. Check Generac.com website.
I've personally installed over 200 whole house Generacs from 7 kw to 40 KW over the last 12 years. |
