What's needed for this?

Ok this afternoon I finally got one located and ordered. I tried even to get the toggle type but as soon as you use them for 240 volt they get knocked down to 10 amp. But anyway I have a dpdt 20 amp that on the description said 120/270 volt yes 270.
Can I get some kind of schematic as to how to connect up the switch from the panels 20 amp breaker through the switch and then to the two 240 volt elements ? Actually I already know how to connect to the vats but more into the switch and branch out to the two vats. I would imagine its not as simple as connecting the two 240 volt line ins from the panel to the centre poles then two wires from each vat to the remaining 4 screws?

I wish I knew , I looked all in the panel with door cover removed , exterior of fuse box around edges and I checked inside and exterior of door and there are no labels or markings. Only reason I know its square D is because door open button has Square D symbol as well as the box is full of square D breakers. All I can say is one of the breakers has a sticker that says interchangeable with square d QO panel. Can you help me out for what to look for to determine whether its a Homeline or QO.
I really appreciate all the patience and help
Lynn

We need a picture or diagram of the switch and it's connecttions ?
Do the terminals have any numbers or letters to indicate what's what ?
Usually they are labelled in some way.
