The question you should be asking is what type of bulb should I use in my fixture, and can it be dimmed?
Let us know what type of fixtures you have and that will help. If they are low voltage fixtures, let us know what kind of transformers they are equipped with. The fixture will be marked.

It calls for 2 - E 100 Watt bulbs.

I can't be 100 % sure, but I think that when they say E-100 they are referring to Edison base 100watt lamps. It's as simple as that. Get two 100 watt frosted glass lamps, and a standard incandescent dimmer and you should be set.
