what size conduit

well, here goes, I will be installing a 12 full circuit main lugs only
sub panel in a attached garage, plan on only using up to 4 to 6
circuits at tops, but, will have some space for possible future.
Can you please advise what size EMT conduit that the code requires.
Plan on pulling four ( 4 ) # 6 Thhn copper wires, white, black, red,
and a green, I was hoping to get by with 3/4 ", but will that be
up to code. ? ? note: I am planning on getting a rating of
60 or 70 amps, that will be plenty for what we need.
I am reasking this question, as last time made no mention that the Garage was attached, my fault , I do appreciate your reply's.
Thanks PIGEONS

what size conduit

3/4 inch EMT conduit will work with 16mm˛ conductors { AKA #6 AWG } that good for 60 amp but if you plan to boost it up to 100 amp down the road then you have to bump the conduit to 1.25 inch conduit { I know 1 inch can be doable but not worth a hassle } with 35mm˛ { #2 AWG } copper THHN/THWN

Merci.
