andrew79 Master Electrician   Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Toronto Ontario Posts: 1,161	What parts do I need to make this lamp? thanks in all seriousness if your really going to go through with this you should hollow it out on the inside of the cover to the size of an ocagon box so you have a metal frame at least on the inside of the cover, this will offer some protection in the case of a short and may save you a fire. __________________ Sarcasm is my friend I'm here to learn too, i do mostly commercial/industrial/new construction and this place is a great way to pick up tips on residential from some good electrical minds. Excuse the spelling, my phone has a mind of it's own.
