what kind of transformer should i use?


i have a blow dryer with 120v 1300watts, im in a 220v country what kind of transformer should i get?

catch a neutral off an extension cord so you have 120V

Areas of the world that have 220 as the voltage supply do not have a 120 leg. The 220 is from hot to neutral.

I agree with buy new hairdryer. It will be cheaper than trying to buy some kind of a step down xformer.
