Westinghouse Outdoor Transformer Question

I have a Westinghouse outdoor low-voltage lighting system. The bulbs are only .5W each and are almost like an LED rather than a traditional low voltage lightbulb. The transformer broke and I'm looking to find a replacement. I've tried to buy a regular low-voltage transformer and the leds are not compatable. Does anyone know where I can purchase a hi-intensity, 12V, 10W, DC only transformer? I would prefer a unit that has a light sensor.

My contact info is dandimase@cox.net if you have any solutions. Thank you for your response.

Best regards,
Dan

if you have the old one still, take it with you to be sure replacement has the same milliamps as well as the same output dc voltage, they should be fine then. compare new and old milliamps that you have there first, of course. this will most likely not be the problem if they are the same.

Try Google, with the info on the label of the transformer. A transformer with the same input/output ratings will work, though you may have to get a photo-eye sensor and wire it in separately.

Hosfelt.com PN 56-957, 12v @ 1A, $6 plus shipping.
They call it an "adaptor."
You supply the weatherproofing.
