Waterproof replacement plug for extension cord

I've got an expensive, long, heavy-duty extension cord that I use outdoors. The prong for the ground wire broke off and I assume that I need to replace the plug. The original plug was sealed very well, while all of the replacement ones I can find would definitely be leaky. So, I was wondering whether there are waterproof (or, at least somewhat water resistant) replacement plugs available. Thanks.

Daniel Woodhead products are good for watertight plugs and connectors.

Should be available at a local supply house or here's a link for online availabilty http://www.waresdirect.com/products/...e-Rubber252857

Thanks.

Kinda pricey, but then it would be as good as (or better than) new.

Are you using a weatherproof in use cover on the receptacle?
