Water sensing relay switch 110V

I am trying to build a water sensing relay switch. Has anyone tried that before. In general one could buy a cheap water sensor. On closure (water is present) they give away between 1-2Volts. most relais that direct a 110Volt switch have higher control voltages. If you have advice on how or where to get the appropriate relay or a DIY method to make a sensor that closes at a higher voltage.

Thank you,

Gunther

What do you mean they give away 1-2 volts? Are you talking about a water flow switch?
