my water pump breaker is tripping---when i reset it, it hums and then trips again------i pulled the disconnect for the pump and reset the breaker and it didn't trip-----just want to make sure if i should be looking at more of an issue with the water pump---thanks
You pulled the disconnect and the breaker holds when reset, that tells you the problem is in the disco, the wiring from it to the pump, or most likely in the pump itself.
It could be either the pump, or the breaker !
But it would be cheaper to replace the breaker first !
If a new breaker doent fix it ,
then you have a problem with your pump.
I assume you have checked all the simple things first,
like loose / dirty / faulty connecttions / damaged cord
Once you give us little more info we can assit you on this real quick.
Merci,
Marc
