Water pump or the wire from disconnect to water pump. Assuming breaker is good.

You pulled the disconnect and the breaker holds when reset, that tells you the problem is in the disco, the wiring from it to the pump, or most likely in the pump itself.

Or a bad breaker, no?

water pump breaker humming and tripping

Maybe it's had enough alcohol to drink?

thanks

i'll check the pump

It could be either the pump, or the breaker !
But it would be cheaper to replace the breaker first !
If a new breaker doent fix it ,
then you have a problem with your pump.

I assume you have checked all the simple things first,
like loose / dirty / faulty connecttions / damaged cord

Which type of water pump you have there?

Sub pump or shallow well pump ?

Once you give us little more info we can assit you on this real quick.

Merci,
Marc

Things to check:

Pressure tank waterlogged.
Pump clogged or jammed.
Pipes clogged.
