wall jack to pin


for a project i need an ac power adapter (i believe) that goes into a regular wall socket then comes out in 12v and is in A FEMALE PIN i have many at home that are in male pin but for this project i need one that comes in a female pin, can someone direct me to somewhere i can get one or if i can get an adapter thanks in advance

This is a 120VAC to 12VDC adapter, you get a free plug with purchase to adapt to your needs. It will power any DC device up to 1500mA.

I am thinking this is what you are needing, you never stated if you need 12VDC or 12VAC? Most anything I can think of would be VDC but be sure to check.

yes i have one of those however the plug on the end of the adapter is male and the plug on my device is male so do u know if there is a double female cable or something for that?

If you have THAT EXACT MODEL than by all means go buy the correct AdaptaPlug. If not than buy that adapter with the correct plug, or look around at a local Radio Shack or electronics store they should be able to point you in the right direction to find the correct adapter.

You still don't seem to take note of the 12 VDC or VAC or the amperage factors, be sure you are providing the correct amount of voltage , type, [AC or DC] and have enough Amps or mA to power it.

im pretty sure that its 12v dc because it was originally used in a car cigarette outlet. and thanks for your help so far
