I have a wall AC in my bedroom and the cord droops down to the receptacle above the floor. I would like to hide this the best I can. My first though is to wire a receptacle about 5 feet directly above the original and shorten the wire of the AC to about 3 inches and just plug it in there. Does anyone have any better suggestions or any problems with my idea?
Yeah, i think it will look 1000 x better with only a few inches of wire coming out and plugged in directly beside the unit. At least it will be neater and less obtrusive. At least, until we invent wireless electricity.... Thanks.
