using conduit??


Hey guys, will this be a code violation if i run conduit along side my rear wall to the atic using #12 wire for electric upgrade from knob and tube? or do i have to keep it inside. i live in pa. thanks...

Shouldn't be a problem.........you will need to use thwn rated single strand wire not romex.

I don't know what kind of load you are servicing but 4 wires could get you 2 20 amp circuts (red, blk, white, green)

I would use 3/4" PVC

using conduit??


thanks so much! i'll only need a few light fixtures, outlets and a exhaust fan. so 20amps should be ok.
