Use a reduced neutral on 200a UG service ??

Ok, Ive done this before, but was wondering if we have had any code changes that would prohibit what I am looking to do. We are dropping a NEW meter on pole, 200a, single phase to feed our newly constructed workshop. When we did this before, we used aluminum feeder cable...4/0-4/0-2/0-2. The run is 115 feet. Question is basically...is the use of the 2/0 reduced size neutral still acceptable ??

In most residential cases the answer is yes. Absolutely.
