Upgrading garage wiring?

I have one car attached garage that currently has the following things fed by one 15 amp circuit:

-1 Overhead door opener
-1 incandescent light fixture
-1 GFI outlet

Here is what I would like to install in the garage:

-5 more GFIs (two outside and four inside) in addition to the existing GFI
-Install two 24" fluorescent fixtures to replace the incandescent fixture
-Retain the overhead door opener

It probably sounds pretty straightforward but here's the catch-I need the capability to run two 12 amp loads and one 7 amp load simultaneously, which I was assuming would mean that three of the GFIs would have to be on dedicated circuits. Is that the only way to do it? I have about half of my panel open (200 amp service), so the space is there. I was thinking it would look something like this:

Circuit 1: Overhead door opener + two fluorescent fixtures

Circuit 2: 2 Outdoor GFIs + 1 indoor GFI

Circuit 3: 1 Indoor GFI

Circuit 4: 1 Indoor GFI

Circuit 5: 1 Indoor GFI

Does that seem right? Is there a more streamlined way to do it than taking up five spots in the box and running so much wire all the way across the house?

Sounds like a subpanel would be the ticket. Maybe 50 or 60 amp to the garage then branch out from there.

There's a nice sticky above that explains how to do it.
