Underground Elec Service crossing gas line

Just got to have my nat gas service line from the street replaced due to construction next door last month. No choice on my part. Now I'm realizing that if I switch to underground elec service like I'd like to in near future it would now have to cross the new path of nat gas line.

What are the rules in such a situation? How much separation is required?

TIA

Underground Elec Service crossing gas line

I would not get overly concerned and I know of no requirements for separation. We run them over, under and with gas lines inside, so why not outside?

Might be a good plan to talk to the gas supplier and the electric supplier. In some parts of the country, the gas company and/or the electric company own the lines up to the house, and make the rules. In other places, you own the lines on your property, but you still have to follow t he rules of the utility.
