Underground cabling splice question
I am doing a project out in the yard with the UF 12/2 wire, what I need to do is splice three wires together, anyone know if the following will allow me to use three wires in it?

No, none of those UF splice kits will permit you to splice 3 UF cables together. They are both for ONE cable to ONE cable. To do what you want, use "underground wire nuts", sometimes called "King wire nuts". They're basically regular wire nuts with silicone or siliconized grease in them. Here's a tip that I use sometimes to splice multiple UF's... Before you splice them together, slide a piece of 1-1/2 or 2" PVC pipe over one of the cables. Make your splice using underground wire nuts. Slide the PVC pipe over the splice, centering up the splice. Spray some spray foam in each end of the pipe to encapsulate the splice. Allow the foam to cure then bury the splice.

Are you asking about splicing three wires or three cables?
