undercounter lighting

What is the best undercounter lighting? I know there is the Xenon, LCD, florecent, etc lights that come in the AC plug style or the DC with transformer.

It really depends on personal preference and the application. I prefer halogen lighting pucks because I prefer the color temperature they provide. If you want task lighting (over a sink), go for a brighter light like xenon or halogen. If you are looking for ambient or supplemental lighting, LEDs or FL tubes might suit you.

I reallly prefer the undercabinet lighting over the undercounter lighting.

IMO the light distribution is too irregular using the puck style.
