undercabinet lights

My wife and i have bought 3 sets of the American Flourescent Xenon undercabinet lights. Our top cabinets will go up to the ceiling.

in each set there are 3 pucks to one transformer. the transformer has a plug with a long cord.

Should i

Figure out where i want the pucks at and put an outlet where it will fall in the top of the cabinet. the cord of the lights will run in between the spaces of the cabinets. i plan to have these controlled by (2) 3 way switches.

is this a 'good' way of doing it. i didnt want to hardwire.

Another question i have is i plan on putting the 3 way switches in the same box as 2 of the countertop recepticles BUT i plan on using the kitchen light circuit as the supply for the undercabinet lights.

How does this all sound?

Thanks
