Under cabinet fixtures

Does anyone know where is it possible to purchase the plastic diffusers for the GE UCF24EBDW and UCF13EBDW under cabinet fluorescent fixtures? I need the covers only, not the entire fixture.

They usually don't sell just diffusers for lights like that, because there are so many different designs. You can try calling GE, and they may sell you a diffuser for the model.

Or, you can just replace the fixture if you REALLY need a diffuser.

That whole fixture costs about $18 new why not just replace the whole thing? What would Fed Ex charge to deliver just the diffuser? 'Bout eight bucks or more.

The first thing I did was to call GE. They said that they don't sell parts for these fixtures. I have eight of these fixtures and two of them have broken diffusers. Since they are wired in, it would be a pain to replace the entire unit AND I assume that the new diffusers would break again in a few years.

Good Lord...are ya kidding me?

Then buy the fixture and take the diffuser off of it and put it on the old fixture then throw the rest in the trash.
