Two Dishwashers one one circuit?

So while preparing for the electrician, I ran two lines for two dishwashers...one for the basement, one for the kitchen upstairs. I was originally planning on giving each one its own circuit..well lo and behold I didn't buy enough wire for the upstairs. Is it ok if I splice the one downstairs and hook the upstairs line into it (in a junction box) and run two dishwashers on one circuit (15 amps)? Thanks.

Two Dishwashers one one circuit?

the wire is 12-2 and the amp is 15..but neither line is actually hooked up yet. I could easily run down and pick up 20 amps..as that is what the electrician is doing by installing the actually breaker...but the problem lies in the drywall..I'd have to remove some drywall to run the 2nd line for the 2nd dishwasher..which is what I'm trying to avoid...that and the cost of more 12-2.

Two Dishwashers one one circuit?

How much power does each one pull ?
Plug in or hard wired ?

Code indicates a dishwasher must have a dedicated circuit
And disposal can be connected on that circuit

Code also indicates each kitchen must be treated seperate
So appears you need a dedicated circuit for each
