troubleshoot dusk to dawn lighting

Recently my dusk to dawn light has failed to turn on. Replaced the 120v 3 prong sensor on top with the arrow facing north as indicated. It turned on for the 1-3 minutes. At dusk, it turned on for that night and has not since. Any suggestions?

no, I have just replaced the sensor. If I take the sensor out and put back in it will repeat the cycle I stated earlier and then the next night nothing.

troubleshoot dusk to dawn lighting

What voltage this luminaire is wired up for I know majorty of the resdentail Dusk to Dawn unit are useally wired up for 120 volts but few older one may have 240 volt verison did you keep the old photocell somecase they will have a marking on them.

My SOP is always get Multi Voltage photocell due it will cover majorty of them.

Was any light reflecting to the photocell that useally prevent it comming on so you may have to change the postion a little to reduce the glare or reflected light get into photocell.

Merci,
Marc
