bought a 5 hp electric motor 3450 rpm 208-230 volt how to I wire it to a planer

trouble wiring a motor to a planer


How many wires does it have in the terminal box? What are they labeled? What direction does it need to turn (looking at the back of the motor)? What is controlling it? How does it get its power (cord and plug, hardwire, etc.)?

There should be a wiring diagram under the cover where the wires come into the motor.
