Touch sensitive switch question

Hi all,

This is not exactly the exact place for such question, but as I'm seeing some topics about touch sensitive switches around here, so I thought it may fit. The question is my LCD monitor (Samsung T220) it has a touch sensitive switch, which sometimes is perhaps *too* sensitive I mean, it may switch on and off and on again the monitor by the 1 second or less I have my finger touching the switcher (it has to do with the amount of pressure or how 'steady' you press the finger at the switch). This shouldn't be something that may inflict damage in the monitor in the long run, right?
