Timer box

I replaced a timer box that controls outside lighting and the new one still won't activate the lights to come on.

What test have been done to verify you have voltage coming in and/or leaving the timer?

People think electricity is so easy to do, they think we can solve a problem over the Internet with zero idea of what they did, how they did it, the voltage of the timer, the nominal voltage and if he marked his wires so he knows they are on the correct terminals.
Sometimes I just want to say "CALL AN ELECTRICIAN"!

OP. My wife will not talk to me. Can you tell me why? Thanks in advance.

Did you try a new bulb in the fixture?
