three way switch trouble

im looking to get some help with an overhead light that is controlled by a three way switch. i had to turn off the breaker the other day and when i turned it back on the light wont turn on. neither of the two switches will turn the light on. ive changed the light bulbs and have turned the breaker off and then back on a few times and still nothing. that breaker controls more than just this light and the other lights/outlets are working just fine.

any thoughts?

thanks
chris

Loose junction point in that circuit, or bad fixture. And what do you mean by controlling other outlets? That lighting circuit should only be lights, no outlets.

i guess what i mean is that this overhead light and other lights/outlets are controlled by the same circuit breaker in the box in my garage. and this light is the only light that isnt working. so do you suggest that i change out my three way switches to start with? the light itself has worked great for the past year and all of a sudden has quit. i dont think its the fixture.

thanks
chris

Did you monkey around with either of those switches?
