Three Way switch

Does anyone have a diagram for a three way switch that operates two lights? The thing is I'm looking to jump from each switch to a light. It's a staircase surrounded by 2x12 joists (not easy drilling). I have the 3 wire in place , and it would be much easier if I didn't have to jump from light to light.

Thanks in advance

Jim

Between the switches?

If you feed the lights individually from the two switch boxes you will need an extra wire between the sw boxes.

Basically, power at one end, switch leg(s) at the other end with a 3 wire between them.

Here is a diagram I like to use when involved with stairs and such... see if it makes sense to you...

All i'm doing is running a 3 conductor from a switch to a light then a 4 conductor to the next switch then a 2 wire to the next light.

OK, what I have in between the switches is AC BX 12/3 with ground, so there are 4 wires. Can I make this work? Can it pass inspection? This is a brand new house getting rough inspect next week.

Or both light runs have to leave the same box.
