Think YOUR electric bill is high?

Silk:

I agree about the fishing I think trying to talk politics on a forum got us off on the wrong foot. So lets not make the same mistake twice. I swear by my Mitchell 300 spinning reel of old that I will not talk politics on this forum again....cross my heart and hope to die. No way to tell how one really feels at the end of a keyboard.

As for fishin for sturgeon...nope... I've only seen them caught on TV. They grow huge!!

Do they take a bait??

As my being an asset to the forum I appreciate the kind words. I kinda settled here quite a while back cause I like the respect most of us have for each other on this forum. I really think having ego battles with each other if we error or have an oversite on a thread is ridiculous. It isn't easy to say your wrong on other forums, cause of the demeaning remarks you have to endure over a misspoken bit of advice. I really like sharing threads with other electricians who feel the same way I do, saves typing and you can share knowledge to get the op on the right track. It makes things a lot better on a forum when you make a mistake, then have to swallow hard and say you errored and the reply back is "don't sweat it", instead of being chastised over it. I certainly have my buttons that bring out the worst in me and I try my best to control that side of me on this forum cause this is such a great bunch of electricians and avid DIYers that frequent here. And if you notice we don't have a lot of moderator intervention so it is up to us to mind the store. Thats all I'm doing is makin sure the store is open for business,..... I just want to be sure we sell quality goods.
