Tester

Hello,
I am rewiring a large portion of my house. It has fabric covered wiring for alot of the outlets. I am looking for a tester that would allow me to power up where i am (say outlet) and find where the power goes?

They make "breaker finders" which will allow you to locate which breaker an outlet, light or bare set of black and white wires goes.

Is that what you had in mind?
