Tandem Circuit Breakers

I have a westinghouse BQ2302120 breaker that needs to be replaced. The problem is that the new cutler hammer one will not fit into the box. It is the same part number, size etc. The only difference between the two is that the parts inside of the breaker that make contact with the box are not located in the same position and therefore I cannot get the breaker into the box because of this. Does anyone have any answers.

Thanks,

Huv
