Switched outlet currently but want to add a fan/light

Good Afternoon,

I am planning on adding a fan with a light into a bedroom. The bedroom has no existing ceiling light, only a switched outlet.

Heres the info:

Switch
3 romexs cables coming in to the box
2 are 14-2 one is 14-3

All blacks are wire nutted with a jumper going to the bottom of switch. All whites and ground wire nutted together (seperately).
One red going to the top of the switch.

The outlet:

1 14-2, 1 14-3 coming in

On top the red is connected. The brass piece on the side is removed to seperate the top from bottom.
Two black wires are connected to the bottom terminal and white is on the other side.

So now i want to know whats the easiest way to make the outlet always powered and then add a ceiling fan?

For the outlet I am assuming, I cap the red and put in a new outlet as a normal series outlet is wired.

For the switch again cap the red. Then just run a wire into the box and to the fan?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Buy a new receptacle and replace the old one ,Cap off the red wire in both boxes,Run a 14/3 to that fan location so you can switch the light and fan separate,Turn the switch box into a two gang box the red from the 3 wire goes to one switch the black goes to the other.

Thanks for your help!

Is the two light switches so I can turn the fan and lights on seperately? Can I keep the single gang box and only do one switch?

You will wined up with too many wires in one box so you are better off making it a 2 gang,Yes that is what the 2 switches are for.

If you want to have one switch you can replace the box with a double gang and only have 1 switch in it.
