switch/receptacle height

what is the mounting height for switches and receptacles (from the floor) in a bedroom?also when running my wires to and from each receptacle how high from the floor should i run them through the studs?

For switches 50-54" is good, lower if it is for handicap people. 12" for plugs along the wall.

If this is in your current home I would measure a few other plugs and switches in your house and make them all the same.

There is no code for this height. Make them the same as the rest of the house so they look the same.
