Switch and recep covers

I'm looking for white plastic covers for a two gain box that has a single switch or single recep mounted in the center. I've searched around with no luck. Where can I find this?

Thanks,

David

I don't think you will have any luck because there's no (manufacturer approved) way to mount a device in the center of a 2 gang box.

EDIT: OK, that's not entirely true...you could use a mudring, which would land the device more or less in the center of the box BUT, the mudring is made to mud up against it and reduce the showing size of the box to single gang which would, needless to say, require only a single gang cover.

You can get a two gang cover with one side blanked off if that helps...

Yup, it has a mud ring. Sounds like I need more mud. *sigh* I didn't want to have to paint, but I guess I'll get started. :o)

On the bright side, I pulled 22,000 feet of high and low voltage wire, made up the joints, panels, etc, and installed the devices. And.... everything works. Sweet!

Like this? But this is metallic, not white. Can be painted though.

2-gang boxes definitely allow for a center mount. Most 220 outlets are, in fact, specced for a 2-gang box.

Another solution is a 2-gang blank. Machine as needed. (I'd use a Dremel)

Why not mount two devises. The one you need and an extra dummy.

could also use a 2 gang plate that has the switch on one side and the other side is blank.
