switch at beginning of 3 light circuit

Three recessed lights on a branch circuit. Switch will be wired at light closest to the power source. Using 12-2 wire. I can't find an explanation of how it's done anywhere.

Thanks 300zx ... that's a good video, but it shows it with power going to the switch first and then from the switch to the light. Power will be coming from the panel to the first light and I'm trying to wire the switch at that same light.

Ok Sorry, You have power going into first light take the power(Black wire from panel) and unhook it at the first light now you have one wire from switch (Black, White, ground) Take the White wire and mark it black hook it to the power(Black from panel) The Ground from switch tie to the grounds in light box The Black wire from switch tie to the Blacks for your lights. At your Switch Ground - Switch with bare wire -Mark your White Black That leaves 2 Blacks to hook to switch. I hope i didn't confuse you to much
