Any concrete poured in or around that pool? Any rebars or wire mesh in there?

You might be looking at renting a jackhammer here ....

What about renting some ground penetrating radar

This is what happens without a permit

My wire comes out under the slab in the pool cabana
Who poured the concrete?

What exactly are you trying to prove or disprove??? Is the bond wire there or not?

Is this a built-in pool, or above ground?

Seems to me, if you built the pool, you would know where the bond wire is and where it comes out. You should be able to walk over to it and point it out.

Time for the jackhammer.

If you can't find the bonding wire intended for the pump motor, then it probably ain't there.

This is a major safety issue. Without proper bonding and an equipotential plane embedded within the concrete, the pool can be lethal, if sufficient stray voltage becomes present.

Anything from lightning to a downed power line can kill you in an improperly bonded pool.
